There were surprise guests who were giving a great show on stage, here are pics of Mrs Lindsay Ferguson, a really nice voice, we'll be hearing more about her i'm sure!

Mr DeYonge's house, guests and the shop appears in the background

Mrs de Jonge and her young protege!

Sergei holding Mom's guitar! He said it was very beautiful for a no 2! Ahem!

A duo of kids performing very well!

and finally, a great bluegrass band named "Lake of stew" who will be recording their first album in december, we sure will hear more from them, they have a website under " My Space", not reachable through Google yet, the mandolin player was really talented and the whole band sang harmoniously!

Mr de Jonge and folks dancing to the music!

A real treat to be there today, thanks again Warren, we'll keep in touch bud!

Best regards

Hey Serge,

Thanks for sharing these. It brings back a lot of fond memories of the month I spent there last summer building under Sergei's (and Joshia's and Sagan's) tutelage. That time included the annual party as well.

Great bunch of folks, those de Jonges. I'm glad you got to meet them and hang out at their place a bit. I only wish I'd known you were going so I could have sent my hellos with you.

So sorry Todd, i should have thought of that even if if i wasn't told, now i remember you had talked to me about this event before, Dang! But i was in some sort of bubble while there, the shop itself left me in awe for the rest of the week end! Serge Poirier38922.7052662037

No sweat, Serge. I'll probably see some of them at the Newport guitar fest in a week and a half.
